We are doing consolidation of reports and workspaces in our organization for which i need to migrate several reports from one workspace to other. I want to insert a button or link into all the old reports which navigates user to newly migrated report. As this is a very big effort to do manually for all the reports, I am trying to see if I can achieve the same by using PowerBI Rest API or PowerShell modules. Is this functionality acheivable ? If so can someone help me guide to achieve the same
This is something you can only do in a Power BI Embedded scenario.
On the other hand keep in mind that you can easily destroy a lot of work by publishing a nearly empty report with the same name as an existing report. That would be an alternative way.
