Hello everyone!
My submission for Week 2 is titled "The World Tour". It is my attempt to take you on a tour of the world and give you a glimpse of diifferent cultures and experiences using visual storytelling.
The landing page consists of an interactive world map that I created using the shape map visual. You have an option to choose out of 4 regions :
- Africa
- Asia & Oceania
- The Americas
- Europe
After selecting an option, the map will filter and display the selected region. Also, a button with text "Start here" will appear to the left of the slicer. Clicking on the button will navigate to your chosen region.
Each region has been divided into 3 themes :
- An iconic journey in the region
- An adventure sport popular in the resion
- Incredible food within the region
There is also a section named "Fun facts" that will give you some interesting facts about the region.
