We are excited to announce that Fabric Activator, part of Real-Time Intelligence, is now generally available! We appreciate your partnership and feedback throughout Activator’s development, helping your organization to generate insights and automate actions.
With this general availability, you can:
Monitor your data in Power BI, KQL queries, Real-Time Hub (Eventstream, Fabric events, Azure Data Lake Storage events) and Real-Time Dashboards.
Create customized business rules and utilize advanced data filtering and monitoring capabilities to tailor your analysis, such as tracking when data values change, exceed certain thresholds, or when no new data has arrived within a specified timeframe.
Automate actions when conditions are met, including sending email/Teams notification, activating Power Automate flows for third-party systems, and activating Fabric items, such as running pipelines and notebooks, to automate data processing. You can confidently define actions by previewing Email and Teams messages and testing actions before starting a rule.
Application lifecycle management: Activator now supports application lifecycle management to help you manage the process of making your reflexes production ready. Learn more here.
We have renamed our feature to Activator. If you are used to seeing Reflex, please note that it is now called Activator. The items you create to set up rules and actions are activators.
Activator usage reporting and billing are now enabled. Learn more on how we calculate capacity consumption here.
Learn more about the Activator GA updates in our blog post. As always, we’d love to hear your feedback and look forward to hearing from you. Try out Activator today by setting alert on Power BI or at Fabric!
