Trigger not working, test also not working

Hello! I created an alert on a visual in a fabric workspace (trial). The trigger will not run and when I test it I get a message like the following, it does not matter what action I select, always the same message:

Sorry to hear you've having trouble. We have recently made some changes to the user experience for setting alerts. We now set up the alert for you and start it, without requiring that you go into Data Activator. The details are described here: Simpler "Set Alert" command replaces "Trigger acti... - Microsoft Fabric Community. Could you try again using this new experience and see if this resolves the problem?
