PowerKPI Custom Visual Broken
Around 3:30 - 4:00 PM CST today (June 26th), the PowerKPI custom visual broke on reports hosted in app.powerbi.com, as well as reports that I run locally in PowerBI desktop.
The underlying data did not change.
I did not update the PBIX file
I did not download any updates to PowerBI.
I do not understand how this could have happened.
Please advise! I would particularly like to know if support for this custom visual has changed without notice.

Here's a before-and-after set of screenshots:
It looks like the layering of the visual is broken. Instead of displaying the chart on top of the x-y grid, the chart is rendering below the x-y grid. The very highest datapoint is barely visible on the 3rd screenshot, so I can see that the data is ok.

I have the same problem
I see issues with published reports on Chrome and in the power bI desktop application. Interestingly there is no issue with the same report on Internext explorer.

Currently having issues with Power BI loading in Chrome.
Just getting the 'Almost Done' loading page then an error.
Is anyone else having issues?

This seems to be working now - in both Chrome and in Power BI Desktop. Again, we did not change a thing. One day it went down. The next day it's back up. Rather tough on our clients.

Yes issues seems to be resolved.

Hi all,
The issue is gone now based on my test. I don't find the issue in internal known issue list. I guess it might be a temporary issue.
Anonymous Please test again on your side to see if it's fine.

So I am seeing problems with the powerKPI visual (again) today . Does not seem to want to update and no data being shown (completely) blank reports. Anyone else having issues?

No issues this week, but we continually ran into issues prior to the holiday (7/4). Microsoft acknowledged issues with northcentral US clusters, but I believe that's resolved. What cluster is your PowerBI subscription running in?
Our powerKPI custom visual is running fine today as well.

Okay issue is resolved - looks like the PowerKPI visual is broken with older versions of the PowerBI software.
We have application update restrictions at my org. so once I got them to update me to the latest version of POwerBI desktop everything seems to now be working. Does imply however that you HAVE TO be on the upgrade treadmill for your visuals to continue to work... : (

I faced a similiar issue that the tooltip was broken. With updating PowerBi Desktop to the latest version everything is fine again.
