I have also been experiencing this issue. Today, I attempted the refresh 3 times and failing each time after considerable "Evaluating..." progress status. I decided I'd clear credentials and try again. but once I opened the Power Query Editor, I thought, "Let me see if something will happen just from the fact that I opened the Power Query Editor". So instead of doing anything, I just used "Close & Apply". There were no changes to apply, so it just closed and I hit Refresh. The refresh completed. I could tell it was going to work this time because the "Evaluating..." messages quickly changed to notifying of the number of rows processed. Is this a clue to the "actual" problem, because I don't really think it has anything to do with credentials. I'm too green with Power BI to be able to tell. Thanks for listening.
