BUG: Formatting options are unavailable for this visual

Hello, Is Power BI doing anything to fix this bug? It seemed like it went away for a while not it's back.

I have the same issue with simple matrix visuals. Hard to find a workaround.

Sometime just selecting antoher visual and come back to this one can help.

Sometime I need to swap to another page and come back so that the format pane will be displayed without error.

Sometime there is nothing I can do excep close and reopen.
