Most SQL like databases implement the SQL COMMENT (SQL Server has extended properties not quite the same). Implementing functionality that can leverage the COMMENT documentation from the database to annotations or tool tips would help novice users to see the "dictionary" to make some better decisions in reporting instead finding people to understand the data.
