Memorable MemberIt’s still unclear. Trino guys seems to expect Microsoft to build the connector because Trino already exposes the required APIs, while Microsoft seems to expect Trino to provide the connectivity layer (at least a standard ODBC driver, as other platforms like Dremio or Athena do).
This has been an open issue for years with any visible progress, so I’m not sure how much collaboration is actually happening. Hopefully they’ll eventually meet in the middle. Or maybe ADBC will change the game
