Support Automatic Connection Variable Mapping for Lakehouse Shortcuts Across Deployment Pipelines
When using Deployment Pipelines to promote Lakehouses containing shortcuts that use Delegated Identity, the connection variables defined through a Variable Library are not consistently retained or automatically mapped to the target connection after deployment.
Currently, users may need to manually update the target connection configuration in each environment after deployment, which becomes challenging when managing multiple shortcuts across Development, Test, and Production environments.
Requested Enhancement:
- Automatically retain and apply connection variable mappings during deployment pipeline promotions.
- Support environment-specific connection resolution through Variable Libraries.
- Ensure shortcut target connections are updated seamlessly when promoted across stages.
- Reduce the need for manual post-deployment configuration.
