Excel has been a great tool for analyzing data. PowerBI provides a means of exporting the data to Excel. However with data leaks becoming a growing concern. Since there is a feature in PowerBI to export the data to Excel, if appropriate rights are not applied to the Excel coming out of PowerBI, there is a potential of data leak (could be malicious or unintentional). There is no means of applying IRM either OOB or through APIs to Excel files automatically while the Excel is generated on the PowerBI side.I was hoping to see if something can be done about this.
