Improve Data Pane Search to Support Table and Column Filtering

Note: this is distinct from the request to add search to PowerQuery (also crucial).

The Power BI Desktop Data pane search currently appears to perform a simple text search across table and field names. In large semantic models, this makes it difficult to locate a specific field within a specific table.

For example, if I want to locate the
Entered
column in the
Queue_Official_Daily
table, I should be able to search using syntax such as
Queue_Official_Daily Entered
or
Queue_Official_Daily[Entered]
.

Currently, searching for the table name causes the entire table and all of its fields to remain visible, while searching for the column name may return the same field from many different tables. Some Suggestions:

Qualified
Table[Column]
search syntax.

Multiple search terms with
AND
behavior.

Separate Table and Field search/filter boxes.

Fuzzy matching while still respecting table context.

Search operators such as
table:Queue_Official_Daily
AND
field:Entered
.

This would significantly improve navigation in models containing dozens of tables and hundreds or thousands of fields.
