I wanted to share an idea that I believe could greatly enhance our experience with Power BI and streamline the process of creating visuals.
As we know, Microsoft has developed an exceptional suite of tools, including Power BI, which has proven to be highly beneficial for our organization. However, I noticed that we currently lack a dedicated section or web page, or even an entire division, where users can easily create custom visuals without the need for coding.
My suggestion is to introduce a feature that allows users to draw visuals directly within Power BI, eliminating the requirement for coding knowledge. Users would be able to create customized visuals by simply sketching or drawing their desired visualizations and then dragging and dropping them into Power BI Desktop.
The power of this feature lies in the seamless integration with Power BI's capabilities. Once a visual is drawn, Power BI would automatically make the necessary adjustments and corrections to ensure its compatibility and functionality within the platform. This would significantly reduce the time and effort required to create and publish visuals in our Power BI workspaces.
By implementing this visual drawing feature, we can empower our teams to effortlessly create visually appealing and informative dashboards and reports, without being limited by their coding skills. It would also foster a more collaborative and agile approach to data visualization within our organization.
I kindly request you to consider this proposal and explore the feasibility of implementing such a feature in Power BI. I believe it would greatly enhance our productivity and further leverage the capabilities of this powerful tool.
