Cusomizable auto refresh

Hello, I am currently busy building different reports for my company and a few of them will be used on specific recurrence, I have for example a monthly report being setup and a quarterly one as well. I am planning to use the app mode and subscription to distribute these reports. After reviewing with my administrator, I was told that we can only do auto refreshes on a daily or weekly basis. This will be an issue as I do not want to send notifications to my subscribers on a daily or weekly basis, but at the frequency to which reading the report will be interesting to them.
