Automatically Populate Folder Path from Clipboard in Import Dialog
I would like to suggest a streamlined improvement to the Import Experience when working with the Folder Import method. Currently, users are required to manually paste the folder path into the input field, even if the path is already copied to the Clipboard.
To enhance User Efficiency and provide a more User-Friendly experience, I recommend implementing a feature where Power BI automatically detects the content of the Clipboard and pre-fills the folder path field in the import dialog. This automation would reduce the number of steps required, simplify the process, and save valuable time for users.
Such a feature aligns with Power BI's goal of delivering an Enhanced Usability and Streamlined Workflow for professionals who frequently work with multiple data sources. By incorporating Clipboard Integration, Power BI can offer a faster and smoother Data Connectivity experience.
I truly appreciate the dedication your team has toward improving Power BI, and I hope you will consider this suggestion for future updates. Thank you for continuously delivering such an outstanding platform.
Best regards
