RS 2026 does not connect with sharepoint
Hi all.
Thanks a lot for everything. I can't use others service because de company defined the PBRS. We only have this.
I already shared the folder that's the one driver, so the file would be alreay updating, but I am receiving the network patch was not found. I think it's permisson or it really doesn't work. Maybe because would be instead of PBRS and then PBS.
I think I can't do anything more until Microsoft resolve it by other way.

If the file is hosted in SharePoint Online, the behavior you're seeing is consistent with the documented Power BI Report Server limitations.
Microsoft lists SharePoint Online File, SharePoint Online Folder, and SharePoint Online List as supported for cached data, but not for scheduled refresh.
The documentation also states that Power BI Report Server doesn't support OAuth-based authentication for model refresh. SharePoint Online File, Folder, and List also have no supported authentication method listed for model refresh.
For file-based sources, Microsoft documents that a local path such as C:\Users\user\Documents can't be used for a refresh plan. The path must instead be one that the Report Server can connect to, such as a network share (\\myshare\Documents).
Therefore, if you continue using Power BI Report Server, the file would need to be available through a location and authentication method supported by Report Server. A SharePoint Online file itself isn't supported for scheduled model refresh.
