can I use RLS in the same way as in embedded - for example in embedded during connection I can add into claim user name, then add this user to specific role on report side to filter query?
From this article, we can know that we are not able to define roles within Power BI Desktop for Analysis Services live connections. Since Power BI report being published to SSRS web portal only supports Analysis Services live connections now, you might not use RLS in the same way as in embedded.
