Personal Gateway issue
Hi Ad_Khattak,
You should not run both on the same server, that will result in errors. As lbendlin said, the personal gateway is intended to run locally on your computer, where the standard gateway is intended to run on a server.
I see no reason for the personal gateway to be installed on a server, and no reason to use a personal gateway if a standard gateway is configured.

We have installed the personal gateway but now the standard gateway is not installing. It stucks at the end and then the installation is cancelled aftersome time. We tried to install it as an admin account.
You should not run both. Personal Gateway is supposed to run on your PC (as an app), Enterprise gateway should run on a VM that is up 24x7, and it runs there as a service.
lbendlin , Thanks for your prompt response. It was working fine before the latest windows update. We were using the standard and personal gateway on one server. We are trying to do the clean install but still not working.

Thanks for your response. Your point is valid. But Our BI team says it won't work this way. They said both the gateways were working fine on same server before the updates.
