PBRIS doesn't work in edge on ipad

hi there,

after IOS was updated to a version 26.5 we are struggling that pbris can't be opened on the edge.

pbris - version 15.0.1121.120 (may 2026), edge - the latest version 152.0.4191.53. The option (allow cross-website tracking is off(also tried on ON side). tried also on safari, chrome browsers - the problem is the same. the problem began with the previous edge option and between the updates it worked, but then the problem appeared again.

what else can i try, need your advice.

    Hello ElenaSv​ 

    • All third-party browsers on iPadOS (including Edge and Chrome) use Apple's WebKit rendering and networking engine under the hood, meaning an engine-level breaking change in iPadOS impacts all browsers identically.
    • Modern iPadOS versions enforce strict TLS cipher suites, stricter certificate validation rules, and enforce Enhanced Tracking Prevention/sandboxed cookie handling that frequently breaks on-premises Windows Integrated Authentication (NTLM/Kerberos) and internal redirects.
    • In iPadOS Settings, go to Edge (and Safari) and disable Prevent Cross-Site Tracking.
    • In iPadOS Settings under Edge/Safari Advanced options, check if Private Relay or any experimental WebKit features are enabled and toggle them off.
    • Verify whether the PBIRS portal SSL certificate uses complete Subject Alternative Name (SAN) attributes and SHA-256 signatures trusted by Apple's strict certificate trust store.
    • Clear the local cache, stored credentials, and website data inside the Edge app settings.
    • Test accessing the portal directly via the official Microsoft Power BI Mobile app for iOS/iPadOS rather than mobile web browsers, as the native app uses dedicated authentication brokers tailored for Report Server endpoints.
