Export Data - Summarized data - Has anyone made it work as expected?

Hey there,

I can't make it work. When I'm sitting at the top level of the hieararchy on a matrix visual and click on extract> summarized data, the extract still shows all levels of the hierarchy (columns) with their values - making it technically an underlaying data extract. I'm aware of the repetition of the values shown in the PBI videos for when an export is done at the top level of the hierarchy, but this is a different scenario.  

Any ideas or something I'm missing in the config of the service?
