Customize Powerpoint pptx attachment Title page that gets emailed with subscription
Hi,
Can you customize Powerpoint pptx attachment that gets emailed with report subscription when I select attach full report. Please see below.
Hi VJ_Lsf
The challenge you're facing is a common one with automated report subscriptions: directly customizing the PowerPoint file attached to the email isn't typically supported by the standard "Attach Full Report" feature. This is because the report generation and attachment process is usually an automated, server-side function with limited customization options. Reporting platforms prioritize the core reporting functionality, and modifying the generated PowerPoint file often requires more advanced techniques. The reason for this limitation lies in the automated nature of the process, platform restrictions, and the complexity of the PowerPoint file format itself. However, there are workarounds you can explore. These generally involve creating a PowerPoint template with your desired formatting, then either manually importing the report data or using APIs and scripting to automate the data population and attachment process. While these alternatives require more technical expertise and effort, they offer a way to achieve a customized PowerPoint report distribution. The specific approach will depend on your reporting platform's capabilities and your technical skills.

Thank you for your inputs. Could you please share if there are any links for exploring the alternative approaches with APIs. We have Power automate through O365. Thank you
