Since the beginning of October, the Text Filter (v 1.2.1) is spinning during 2-3 minutes after report page loading (Direct Report and report withiin App) and filter is not working in Power BI Service (v 13.0.14587.80).

When i try to search somtehing, page blink but nothing else happen.

The visual works fine on Power BI Desktop (v 2020 October)

    Hi Rlarrode

Service version has been upgrade to 13.0.14643.53. Please try again to have a test whether text filter could work well in new version.

If it still doesn't work, please try other browsers like Chrome.

Here I found a same issue like yours: Text filter compatibility with Edge browser - stops working after 30 seconds, I hope it could help you.

You could submit your issue by this link to improve the Power BI.

    Best Regards,

      Hi Anonymous,

      Thanks for your reply,

I forgot to mention that i'm using Chrome 86

I also tried with Edge 86 and Firefox 82 and the result is the same.

It appears that after the spinning period of 2-3 minutes, text filter sometimes works. But in PBI desktop it works instantenously.

      Thanks for your support

        Hi Rlarrode

I build a sample and have a test in my service (open the report by Chrome 86), it seem to works well.

Could you provide me a sample like yours? And I can have a test by your data model.

        Best Regards,
