Filter Pane Text Colours
Hi all,
My filter pane is using black text for non-selected values in drop downs, which you can't see against the blue background.
How do I fix this?
This is a known limitation in Power BI. The dropdown option text may remain black even when you set the Filter pane font color to white.
Try this workaround:
1. Select the report canvas.
2. Go to Format → Filter cards → Available.
3. Change the Background color and Input box color to a light color, such as white.
4. Keep the dropdown area light so the black text remains readable.
If you need to retain the blue theme, use a light background for the filter cards and keep the outer Filter pane blue.
Important: Power BI does not expose a separate formatting option for the text inside every native filter dropdown, so changing the Filter pane font color alone may not fix it

Go to the filter cards section. Select default from the state. Change the input box color to something lighter.

Thanks for the suggestion - it doesn't look like it's improved anything
Changing Background doesn't fix it either

Thank you - this workaround makes it legible, whilst essentially means the format pane is not compatible with dark themes.
