Support for URL based filter in Org App (preview)

I'm trying out Org Apps (preview) per this documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/org-app-items/org-app-items

One key feature I need to maintain is the ability to set filters via a url: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-url-filters

Notably, the scheme for a filter as documented is: URL?filter=Table/Field eq 'value'.  While you can still have an org app url that includes a page of a report (eg https://powerbi.com/groups/*/orgapps/*/report/*?filter=foobar), adding the same type of filter does not seem to work when I try it.

Have others had support adding URL filters to their org apps?

Currently, URL filters do not appear to be supported in Org Apps (preview) in Power BI.

While traditional workspace apps allow filtering via query string parameters like ?filter=Table/Field eq 'value', this functionality is not yet confirmed to work with Org Apps URLs—even when targeting a specific report page.

___What we know from the documentation:
Org Apps (preview) are a new item type in Power BI, designed to offer more flexible app creation and sharing within workspaces.
URL filtering is well-documented for standard report URLs in the Power BI service, but there is no mention of compatibility with Org App URLs in either documentation.
    __What users are experiencing:
Even when using a valid filter syntax like ?filter=Sales/Region eq 'West' appended to an Org App report URL, the filter does not apply.
This suggests that Org Apps may not yet support query string filtering, or that the routing logic for Org App URLs bypasses the filter parameter.
    __Workarounds and suggestions:
Use direct report URLs (outside Org Apps) if filtering via URL is critical for your workflow.
Consider embedding reports in other platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams) where URL filters are supported.
Monitor the Power BI release notes and community forums for updates on Org App capabilities.
Would you like help drafting a feedback post or support ticket to Microsoft about this limitation? Or perhaps a workaround using bookmarks or dynamic parameters inside the report itself?

I just tried this syntax, it is working perfectly fine

    https://app.powerbi.com/groups/<groupId>/orgapps/<orgappId>/report/<reportId>?filter=<TableName>/<ColumnName> eq '<FilterValue>'

It added a report level filter as expected
