Sharing Dashboard without sharing the dataset
Hi Rawbin,
When we share a dashboard with others, the recipients have no access to detailed data in dataset, neither have no edit permission. They can just view the related report via clicking the dashboard tile. Per my understanding, what you mean is to restrict user's access to source report, right? Unfortunately, this is not achievable now.

Hey guys,
thank you v-yulgu-msft, this was the information i needed. The dashboard someone created was based on a report called 'Dataset Master' containing the whole dataset. So now I have to split up this giant report to create dashboards without sharing the dataset.
Thank you again for your great help! :)
