Schedule refresh - Not working
Hi
I am new to Power BI.. Linked it to sharepoint site, created some basic reporting etc.. and managed to schedule a refresh... However if I have a dataset that is based on an excel file on my local machine, within a report that has the dataset as Sharepoint list, the option to schedule a refresh is disabled.
Can Power BI not schedule a refresh if you are using locally stored datasets?

What you will need is a gateway to access the local file.

cwilliams2109 if you do not want gateway configuration you can either use Sharepoint online or Onedrive upload your files there and import in power bi refresh will work fine
