not automatically refresh
Hey guys,
I recently encountered a problem when I was presenting dashboard in the browser (IE)
On the TV, the data does not automatically refresh.
I tried to download a plugin that automatically refreshes the data but once the plugin refreshes the data it takes me out of the full screen
What can be done with this issue ..?

If you refresh the browser, yes it exits full screen.
I wrote a small macro inside an excel worksheet that automates the mouse clicks. I have it running on my TV boxes and it exits full screen, clicks the refresh button at the top of Power BI, and goes back into full screen mode.
Any mouse-click macro automation should be able to handle that for you.

I wont be able to provide the file I have created, as it would breach the IP of the company I work for. It only took me 45 minutes to whip up, so its something you could potentially create yourself if you have some VBA experience. All you need is the lines of code that handle moving the mouse and doing the click. Each element was pretty straight forward, and how much effort you go to to make the file user friendly is up to you.
Alternatively, there are products on the market that handle automating input.
I checked the option that still does not refresh the data.
the data is updated only when I refresh the browser manually.BR
