Hi markmacardle ,
If you are an admin, you could delete group workspace in the workspace settings.
If you are a member, you could ask your admin to remove you.
This is a document comparing the differences between the two workspaces.

markmacardleI actually can't see how to delete it 😓. When I click the three dots I only get an option to edit the message, but not delete it.
