gateway refresh
Hello,
I have a power bi desktop that does import from an Oracle database (I need to use time intelligence functions)
and now I'm in the publish part for the service and schedule the refresh with the gateway.
First question) every time the gateway refresh will import the whole date? or will it just refresh the new data?
Second question) I read in some place that with pro license it is only possible to do 8 refresh per day. Is there any way to have my data in real-time? whenever there is new information in my oracle database will update my dataset?
third question) What's the best way: to import all my data to a pbix and publish them to the service and whenever I want to build new reports on the desktop I get data with "Power BI datasets"? Will the gateway also update the data in the PBIX file?
I'm sorry for my basic questions, but I'm a bit confused.

#1, Refresh speed should related to your data amount and networks status, you can also take a look at following document what mentioned the backend of power bi refresh operations.
#2, For live connection mode, you can only use measure formulas. Power bi hasn't limit you to use time intelligence functions in that mode.

#1, Power bi will import whole data to replace old records.
#2, You can consider to use live mode to link to datasource.(records will update when you interact with visuals)
#3, Did you mean use power bi service as datasource to create report? If this is a case, new report records will updated from cached power bi service dataset.(it will updated based on previous report schedule refresh settings)
