Gateway errors MSOLAP
Our GatewayInfo logs are being flooded with the following error:
[DM.GatewayCore] AdoNetDBFullConnectiongString: Service Msolap progid is different with on-prem. Service:MSOLAP.5. On-Prem:MSOLAP.8.
BOOKMARKS is not supported by MSOLAP.8
I have updated the client libraries like it was recommended on MSOLAP version for Enterprise Gateway but this didnt fix it.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Analysis Services\AS OLEDB\140\msolap.dll is version: 15.1.10.25
Can someone please explain the errors above and what can we do to fix it?

HI ctsiamb ,
In my opinion, I'd like to suggest you install the correspond msolap library. It does not mean the last version of msolap will compatibility with all version gateway clients.

ok thanks. I raised a support ticket.
do we have any resolution for this ? Started getting the same error on the Gateway logs and the strange thing is it throws error only for some users and not all .
did you ever get a resoluton for this?
