Hi! Export data is not working in one report and ONLY in one report created with December 2022 version of PBI desktop. Other old reports in same workspace exports data to Excel normally! "Data with current layout"-option -> Excel is greyed out, nothing happens"Summarized data"-option -> Excel format is not greyed but the created file is not in Excel form so Excel can't open it. What happened..? Report settings is checked

I answer to myself 🙂 Problem was table/matrix did not have any "name"I renamed those three dots to "Table" and now export to Excel works as it should

Hey tuulia ,

In the report settings, that allow for export, was that set that way BEFORE the first publish? if not, you will have to delete the published report, and then re-publish. But, if it was there is another setting - in the Workspace, on the report itsel, in the settings option, you can de-select the Export data option there as well. Is that one set to not export?

  Thank you! I re-published my report with different name. I published it to an another workspace. No changes -> export fails. Both reports has this option selected.

Hello,

We have also problem with export data from visual to excel in Power BI Service.
Problem started last week,
PowerBI Service version 13.0.19635.59 and PowerBI Desktop version 2.112.603.0.
If there is some measure in the "Tooltips"-field of visual, then "Export to Excel" -action informs an error in PowerBi Service
