Cloud based OneDrive scheduled refresh

Hello,

I have a dataset made up tables linked to OneDrive files. I was expecting to be able to schedule a refresh within Service directly to the OneDrive files but I think I have to install a Gateway. I don't want to do this because I don't want to rely on my computer being turned on. Please can you tell me how I can schedule a refresh directly from the cloud based OneDrive files? I see from the link below there is a way to do this by treating the OneDrive files as web data sources, but please can someone tell me whether this is still the best way to connect to cloud based OneDrive files?
