Cannot try Microsoft Fabric

Hi all,

I wanted to try microsoft fabric. I activated the trial I can't test anything (data factory, warehouses etc). I always get an error: To create a Data pipeline, you need a free Microsoft Fabric trial capacity. Unfortunately, your Microsoft tenant has reached the maximum number of available free trial capacities.... Please help.

Days left in trial: 58
Thanks a lot in advance!

  • What do you mean by you activated your trail?

Are you able to see this when you login to Power bi page:

Based on the error message, your trail didnt get activated as max limit has been reached within your tenant

Yes, I can see how many days are left in the trial.

        Hi PetrJanis93 ,

You can try to assign any one of your workspaces to fabric trail capacity and try. Don't assign any production ones if you have any workspaces for testing you can use them.

        Thanks,

        Sai Teja

    Hi, PetrJanis93

An error message is often displayed when a Microsoft tenant reaches the maximum available free trial capacity.

Each Fabric trial capacity gives you full access to all Fabric workloads and features, up to 1 TB of OneLake storage, and one capacity per trial. You can start an additional fabric capacity trial until you reach the maximum set by Microsoft. You can refer to the following link:

Fabric trial capacity - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn

If you're ready to buy Fabric, you can visit the Buy Fabric page.

Requesting another trial capacity user to grant you access to the one assigned to them may be a workaround if you know someone else who has a trial capacity. Here is the link:

        Hi, PetrJanis93

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.
I didn't have this problem. Based on your error message, it may be that your tenant is running out of Farbic Free licenses, as I said above, and the capacity is insufficient. You may need to go to your administrator and reapply for a free license in the 365 admin portal
