Access Issues with data source
Hey, I am new to Power Bi and doing a Udemy course, I am required to connect to a csv file from my pc using file path and I need to enter my username and password for that connection. The issue is th...
- Run Power BI Desktop as Administrator: Right-click on Power BI Desktop icon > "Run as Administrator."
- Check File Path Length: Ensure the file path doesn’t exceed 260 characters. Try moving the file to a simpler path.
- Close Power BI: Ensure no file is locked by Power BI. Restart Power BI and try again.
- Check Folder Permissions: Make sure your user has full control of the entire folder path.
- Check UAC (User Account Control): Disable temporarily if it’s restricting file access.
