- Run Power BI Desktop as Administrator: Right-click on Power BI Desktop icon > "Run as Administrator."
- Check File Path Length: Ensure the file path doesn’t exceed 260 characters. Try moving the file to a simpler path.
- Close Power BI: Ensure no file is locked by Power BI. Restart Power BI and try again.
- Check Folder Permissions: Make sure your user has full control of the entire folder path.
- Check UAC (User Account Control): Disable temporarily if it’s restricting file access.
These steps might resolve the issue. Let me know if you need further help!

The error is due to permission issues with accessing the file path. To fix it:
- Check Folder Permissions: Make sure your user account has read access to the folder.
- File Access: Ensure the file isn't open in another program.
- Run as Administrator: Try running Power BI as an administrator.
- Check for Special Characters: Remove special characters (+) from the file path.
- Antivirus Software: Temporarily disable antivirus to check if it's blocking access.
Try these steps to resolve the issue.

I did all that and still the same issue is arising. Removed the '+' from the folder name, checked that permissions were allowed for everything for the folder, no other program is running currently, I don't have an antivirus and how do I run Power BI service as Admin?

yeah I made a silly rookie dumb mistake of only copying the folder path and not adding the file name, my bad for wasting your time
