DataSourceError Access Database
Hello,
This may not be the right forum. I'm accessing Power Query from Power BI. I have an ODBC connection setup for an Access database. The Access database was created in 1996 and migrated to Office 365. Most of the tables were created in the 1996 timeframe.
I select the DSN, which presents the available items (data preview is selected). I navigate to the database and select a table. For all tables that were originally created, I receive the following error:
For tables that I have created in the last year, they display and I can Load them.
This may be an Access related issue. I'm not understanding why those tables are different and how I can "fix" them so they will load.

Based on your description, you are experiencing compatibility issues with older tables in the Access database. You can try the following steps to resolve this issue:
First, make sure that the bit size of the Access database engine (32-bit or 64-bit) matches the bit size of Power BI Desktop. A bit version mismatch may cause connection problems.

Second, make sure you have the latest ODBC driver installed. Sometimes older drivers may not fully support newer versions of the Access database.

thought I would add to this. When I opened my backend database, it displays that the .mdb file format is Access 2002 - 2003. If I create a new database and import the files the format becomes 2007 - 2017 and I am able to see the data.
