XMLA issue

Is there a way for me to run a XMLA query in Power BI.

For example, I can run the following "test" XMLA query in SSMS and it returns a response

 

<Discover xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xml-analysis">
	<RequestType>DBSCHEMA_CATALOGS</RequestType>
	<Restrictions />
	<Properties />

</Discover>

 

But I am trying to run this on PBI desktop on SSAS Connector where it returns the following error. While running this query, I need to mention a database on the connector whereas the XMLA query on SSMS does not need one, probably because it can cross database.

 

DataSource.Error: AnalysisServices: The Discover element at line 7, column 72 (namespace urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xml-analysis) cannot appear under Envelope/Body/Execute/Command.

 

I ultimtaely want to to see if I can run an EXECUTE method but I am stuck at first step.

The equivalent DMV to this is probably following. But this question is not about how to run comparable queries that return the almost same response the XMLA Discover will return.

I can run MDX, DAX, DMV on SSAS connector on PBI desktop. How do I run XMLA query on SSAS connector or on a different connector that is compatiable to run that query on PQ desktop and / PQ online.
