    What specific operations(merge/append/add custom columns) do you take in Query Editor? How many rows does your API return and how many queries in Query Editor?


    "If I maintain the queries only on power query and create the connection with the .xlsx file, is it possible to run and update through Power BI? Also, is it possible to load the data model to Power BI Web?"

    Based on the above description, do you want to connect to the data source from Power Query of Excel and update the Excel file via Power BI? If so, it is possible.

Hi eduardomaia 

 

Since the preview works but the full model load remains on Evaluating, I would test the Salesforce and Marketo queries separately and use Power Query Diagnostics to identify which query or step is taking the time. The thread does not provide enough information to determine whether the issue is caused by API pagination, transformations, or the Salesforce source.

 

For the Salesforce portion, Power BI Connector for Salesforce is another option. It lets you select the required objects and fields and apply filters or SOQL before importing the data into Power BI.
