UX: Improve loading time experience
Hi,
This is the user experience for my PBI Report:
1. User clicks on the Report URL
2. PBI Loading starts with a almost blank page with some circling animation
3. Part of the report is shown on the other hand - as you can see
4. The vizzes start appearing one after another and within seconds all of them appears.
The full experience lasts only around 10 sec, but I have a feeling we should be able to improve it ? e.g. by displaying a loading animation while all the visuals are loaded in the background ?
I have tried to copy the page without the visuals (like a welcome page), added a button, clicking which it takes the user to the page with visuals. I had a hope that the whole report (all pages) loads together in the background, and I will ask the user to click a button (waste some of their time) by which PBI can fully load the page with visual. But it seems like each page loads separetely, and I cant avoid this using this method.
Any ideas around it ?
Thanks

If your workspace is assigned premium capacity, you might consider enabling query caching.
Query caching instructs the premium/embedded capacity to use its local cache service to maintain query results, avoiding the underlying data source to compute them.
