I'm a little confused about your scenario. Actually, we cannot see dashboard in Power BI Desktop.  What does your "dashboard" mean?

 

Besides, What's version of your Power BI Desktop? I suggest you'd better update to the latest version.

 

Could you describe your issue in more details? If it is convenient , could you please share a dummy pbix file which can reproduce the scenario, so that we can help further investigate on it? You can upload it to OneDrive or Dropbox and post the link here.
