SQL POWER BI tutorial request
I have a current project of getting data from SQL database through direct query and creating dashboard. Also i need to create slicers that need to change the data dynamically. Please provide training links, tips and tricks. I tried finding online videos but nothing was helpful. Thank you.

- For slicers that update your data interactively, the Slicers in Power BI doc is a great starting point:

- If you want your slicers to filter the SQL query itself (super useful for Direct Query), explore Dynamic M Query Parameters:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-dynamic-m-query-parameters- This lets you tie slicer selections directly to your database queries for faster results.

- To keep your dashboard snappy, consider using aggregations in your SQL database. The Direct Query guide above touches on this t can make a big difference with large datasets.
If you find this information useful, please “Accept it as a solution” and give it a “Kudos” to assist others in locating it easily.
