sorting within the bars

Hi,

1. In page 1, i want big bars in a particular column to come first or bars having high "number of order" should show up first.

I have selected three dots and selected sort by -> num_orders but it is only sorting the bars not within the bars . plz help

2. i want to keep a filter pane of "category" in center of page 1 i.e if selected a particular category from drop down then relevant data should show up

and

3.  in stacekd column chart , there is a column "1" showing up  with no values. i want to hide it or remove it , how can i do it .

Please help!!

  • Hi Anonymous ,

    1. You can only sort columns that are already used in the chart, you can't sort specific bars.

    2. "i want to keep a filter pane of "category" in center of page 1 i.e if selected a particular category from drop down then relevant data should show up"

Not particularly understand what you mean, maybe you can refer to this article.

Show or Hide a Power BI Visual Based on Selection

    3. Like this?

If you want to remove it, you can remove or filter rows in Edit Queries

    Or don't tick this option:

    1. No way that I am aware of.

    2. I am not sure what you mean

    3. Weird, if you switch that visual to a matrix visual the extra 1 goes away, not sure why that is there.
