    The SharePoint folder connector is meant to expand files, not get metadata. Try the SharePoint list connector instead (yes I realize it's a library - trust me). If you need both the file content and the metadata, you can do two queries and merge them to combine.

I've made a test and encountered the same problem you mentioned.

When I tried christinepayton 's suggestion and successfully retrieved the file metadata by connecting the data source using SharePoint Online list. 

 

 

I recommend you try the same approach. If the issue is resolved, please consider marking christinepayton 's response as the solution. If the problem persists, please do not hesitate to let me know.
