SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR() function not working

I have tested it and it works. The DAX Guider you can refer.

Or you can try the equivalent formula:
DATEADD(dates, -1, year)Pbix in the end you can refer.

Why have you create a complicated structure? In the Date Final table, create a Quarter column. There should be a Many to One and Single relationship from the Date column of the Tables A and B to the Date column of the Date Final Table. To your slicers, drag Quarter and Month from the Date Final Table.
