Sameperiodlastyear Not working
Hi
Need assistance. Have 2 tables. Calibration Certificates with all certificates and calibration dates. Date table.
Relationship linked between the 2.
Created a Count Total measure to calculate the total of certificates.
This seems to work with my slicers...
Now trying to create a Sameperiod measure.
Seems I am unable to get this working.
Any assiatnce will be appreciated.
Try using Calculate([Total],... instead of Calculate(Sum([Total]),...
Measures are already aggregations.

The error is now gone and was able to add to my table, however no data is displayed
Any reason why?

I'd first try removing any filters applied to your visual table like your year slicer and see whether the measure is still returning blank.
If it's unable to calculate [Total] using SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR with a slicer applied to year then there may possibly be an issue with your table relationships and their expanded filter context.
