Missing Visuals after Append
- Anonymous1 year ago
Hi Walt1010 ,
We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with Power BI Desktop. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:
1. Please try refreshing the data in the new table.
2. Please check if there are any relationships that may affect the visualization. If the new table has incorrect relationship with other tables, it may not be displayed correctly. Also, check if there are any filters applied to the visualization that may exclude the new data.
3. If the visualization uses measure or calculated columns, make sure they reference the new table correctly. If these didn't solve your issue, please share more details about it in a screenshot or a pbix file (with sensitive data removed) so that we can better help you solve the problem.
Best Regards,
Clara Gong

Thanks for your reply. As soon as I saw it I began methodically working through all the measures that I used in the report, and I soon relaised that I had several that still referenced the "parent" table and not the one that was the result of the append. Once I changed them the visuals worked fine. Thanks again.
