Making changes to a semantic model with additional sources based on SQL (filter issue)

One of the suggestions is to use a composite model for this. connect to the shared semantic model by going to Get Data and selecting Power BI datasets. Then, connect to your SQL database and load the table you need into the report. After that, create a relationship between the SQL table and the relevant table in the semantic model using the common key. Once that's set up, you can use fields from your SQL table as slicers or filters to control the data shown in the report. Please refer below Document. it may helps you.
