Lock Objects
Hi all,
Is it still the case that the View/Lock Objects setting is NOT saved with the report file?
In other words, if you want to prevent visuals from being accidentally moved in a report, the Lock Objects setting has to be enabled at the start of every session.
Thanks.

The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.

Open PBI. Drop a Card visual on the desktop. Note that you can drag it around the screen. On the View menu, select 'Lock Objects'. Note that you can no longer drag the object around the screen. Save the report. Load the report file back again and note that the 'Lock Objects' setting is now off and you can move the visual again.
I assumed that this setting is to stop a user from moving the visuals you have carefully placed on your report. If this setting is not saved with the report file then it becomes much less useful.
Hope this explains what I am asking.
