Lock worksheet
Do we have an option to lock a particular worksheet/tab?

In Power BI, there isn’t a built-in way to lock or protect individual report pages (tabs) in my knowledge Instead, you can:-
Use Row-Level Security (RLS) with role-based filters and custom navigation to control who sees which pages.

Manage user permissions in Power BI Service to restrict who can edit or view the report.

Lock visual positions during design, but this doesn’t restrict access to the page itself.
So, the best approach to "lock" a tab is controlling access through RLS and permissions rather than locking the sheet itself.

In Power BI, you don’t have an option to “lock” a specific worksheet or tab the way you can in Excel. Report pages (tabs) are either visible to the user or hidden by the report author, and there’s no built-in feature to password-protect or lock just one page. The only controls you have are to hide a page so it doesn’t appear in the navigation, or use Row-Level Security (RLS) or page navigation with conditional logic (e.g., buttons tied to measures) to restrict access indirectly. Some developers simulate a lock by creating navigation buttons that only become active when certain conditions are met, but users with edit rights or access to the report will still be able to unhide pages. If your requirement is to truly control who sees or uses a page, the best practice is to manage permissions at the dataset or workspace level, or create separate reports for different audiences rather than trying to lock individual tabs.

Anonymous did you get a chance to look into this approach? Since Power BI doesn’t support locking individual tabs, the suggested options RLS, conditional navigation, or separate reports are usually the best way forward. Let us know if you’re able to make one of these work for your scenario.
