Input Slicer Case Sensitivity

Hi nyradmin ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community Forum.

 

There is no visual‑level setting. Slicer visuals in Power BI do not have a built‑in option to ignore case sensitivity.

 

please try below alternative workarounds.

1. Normalize text in the model, In Direct Lake create below DAX measure.

SearchName =LOWER ( 'Table'[Name] )

Then use SearchName in the Input Slicer. Display the original-cased column in visuals.

2. Create a SQL view or notebook transform using LOWER() or UPPER(). Point the slicer at that standardized column.
